Ralph de Chabert leads D&I efforts while also providing executive-level oversight for Brown‑Forman’s philanthropic investments in our communities, including the leadership of the Brown‑Forman Foundation. He also serves on Brown‑Forman’s Executive Leadership Team.
Ralph has a significant record of achievement with over 28 years of global diversity and inclusion experience. Prior to Brown‑Forman, he held successive positions in Northern California as Chief Diversity Officer, Vice President of Employee Relations & Diversity and Head of Executive Development and Diversity for Safeway, Corp, McKesson, Corp, and American President Lines respectively. He also served as Operations Manager for Pope & Associates, a diversity consulting firm in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Ralph serves on the boards for The Muhammad Ali Center, Louisville Central Community Centers, The Louisville Ballet, The University of New England and The Centre For Global Inclusion. He holds a Doctorate in Education and Leadership from Spalding University, Master’s Degree in Human Resources Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco and a Master’s Degree in Education from John Carroll University in Cleveland. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy from Saint Francis College of Biddleford, Maine.
